Coach seeks a part-time Sales Support Associate in North Charleston, SC (Charleston Outlets) to manage POS, stock, and customer service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients with professionalism, anticipating needs and delivering personalized service at the cash wrap and on the sales floor.
- Operate POS systems accurately, manage cash/media, and maintain an organized, compliant cash wrap.
- Receive, process, and organize incoming shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom order and cleanliness.
- Manage inventory levels, replenish the sales floor, and execute visual merchandising updates and product presentations.
- Promote add-on products and gift cards; capture customer information where permitted to support CRM and repeat business.
- Support sales floor activity by responding to customer requests, collaborating with sales colleagues and management, and facilitating smooth transactions.
- Serve as a brand ambassador locally, supporting social media engagement and representing Coach standards in the community.
- Maintain housekeeping standards, adhere to Loss Prevention procedures, and perform occasional physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales); prior experience in luxury retail preferred.
- Familiarity with current fashion trends and competitive landscape.
- Proficiency with cash register systems and mobile POS solutions; comfortable using iPad, laptop, and Internet-enabled devices.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational discipline, and the ability to multitask in a high-traffic retail environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays as required.
- Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; able to climb, bend and maneuver within sales floor and stockroom spaces.

Experience
At least one year of retail experience is required, ideally including cashiering, inventory or stockroom responsibilities; luxury retail exposure is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
