Coach seeks a part-time Sales Support Associate in North Charleston, SC (Charleston Outlets) — cash wrap, inventory and customer support role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and provide attentive, personalized assistance on the sales floor and at the cash wrap.
- Operate POS and Mobile POS systems accurately; handle cash, cards and other media in strict compliance with company policy.
- Receive, process and organize incoming shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain a clean, well-organized stockroom.
- Manage inventory levels, replenish the sales floor, and execute visual merchandising updates and housekeeping standards.
- Suggest add-on products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted to support clienteling efforts.
- Support day-to-day sales floor activity, respond to customer requests confidently, and partner with colleagues and management to resolve issues.
- Adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines and assist in maintaining a secure retail environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ year of retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales); luxury retail experience preferred; combination of education and experience considered.
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace dynamics.
- Proficiency with cash register systems, iPad and Mobile POS, and basic computer / Internet usage; ability to use walkie talkie.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; frequently climb, bend and kneel.

Experience
At least 1 year of prior retail experience is required; experience as a cashier, stock associate or sales advisor is preferred. Luxury retail background is advantageous; a combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant retail or customer-service training or college coursework is a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
