Coach Sales Support Associate role in Norfolk, Virginia, supporting client service, store operations, inventory, and visual merchandising.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome clients warmly and professionally, anticipate their needs, and provide personalized assistance.
- Represent the brand internally and in the local market, and support social media engagement.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, keep the cash wrap organized, and handle cash and other payment media in accordance with policy.
- Recommend add-on products, promote gift cards, and collect customer information where permitted.
- Receive, process, and organize shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and keep the stockroom clean.
- Manage stock levels, replenish the sales floor, and implement visual merchandising updates.
- Support sales-floor activities, respond confidently to customer requests, and work with team members or management as needed.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and follow Loss Prevention guidelines.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of retail experience, including cashier, stock, or sales experience; luxury retail service experience is preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and marketplace competitors.
- Knowledge of cash register systems and basic computer skills, including using an iPad or laptop, Mobile POS, and the internet; ability to use a walkie-talkie and understand and read price and product release sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak busy season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
- Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs, and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.
