Coach Sales Support Associate in Norfolk, Virginia: part-time retail role offering POS, inventory, and customer service in a luxury fashion environment. $15–$19.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers with warmth and professionalism, anticipating needs and providing personalized service
- Serve as a brand ambassador internally and in the local market, supporting social media engagement initiatives
- Operate POS systems accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle cash and media transactions in compliance with company policy
- Suggest complementary products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information as permitted
- Receive, process, and organize incoming shipments and transfers, reporting any discrepancies and maintaining stockroom cleanliness
- Manage inventory levels, replenish merchandise on the sales floor, and execute visual merchandising updates
- Support sales floor activities, respond confidently to customer inquiries, and collaborate with team members and management
- Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the store and adhere strictly to loss prevention guidelines
- Lift and maneuver merchandise regularly (up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom environments
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of previous retail experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace dynamics
- Proficiency with cash register systems and basic computer skills, including iPad, laptop, mobile POS, and Internet navigation
- Ability to utilize walkie-talkie systems and interpret price and product release sheets
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities
- Capacity to multitask effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days
Skills
Experience
Minimum one year of retail experience, preferably in a luxury retail service environment. A combination of formal education and professional retail experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
