Coach is hiring a Sales Support Associate in Norfolk, Virginia. Join Tapestry's retail team to deliver exceptional client service and support POS and stock operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet clients with warmth and professionalism; anticipate needs and provide personalized assistance on the sales floor and at the cash wrap.
- Operate POS accurately, process transactions and maintain cash/media handling in strict compliance with company policy.
- Receive, process and organize incoming shipments and transfers; report inventory discrepancies and maintain a clean, efficient stockroom.
- Manage stock levels and replenish the sales floor; execute visual merchandising updates to brand standards.
- Recommend add-on products and gift cards, capture customer information when permitted and support clienteling activities.
- Support store social media engagement and act as a local brand ambassador.
- Maintain housekeeping standards, follow Loss Prevention guidelines and assist the sales team during peak periods and events.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales experience); luxury retail experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive market awareness.
- Proficiency with cash register systems and Mobile POS solutions; comfortable using iPad and laptop devices.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational capability, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills; strong English proficiency.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, public holidays and peak retail periods.
- Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; ability to climb, bend and manoeuvre in sales floor and stockroom.

Experience
At least one year of prior retail experience, preferably including cashier and stockroom responsibilities; luxury retail background is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
