Coach in Norfolk, VA is hiring a part-time Sales Support Associate to operate POS, manage inventory, and deliver exceptional client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist clients with warmth and professionalism at the cash wrap and on the sales floor, anticipating needs and delivering personalised service.
- Operate point-of-sale systems and Mobile POS accurately; maintain cash wrap organisation and follow cash/media handling policies.
- Receive, process and organise incoming shipments and transfers; report inventory discrepancies and maintain a tidy, compliant stockroom.
- Manage stock levels and replenish the sales floor; execute visual merchandising updates and floor moves as directed.
- Support sales-floor activities and respond to customer requests confidently; promote add-on products and gift cards; capture permitted customer information.
- Maintain housekeeping standards, adhere to loss prevention procedures, and follow safe lifting and ergonomics practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year retail experience preferred; prior cashier, stock, or sales experience in a luxury retail environment is advantageous.
- Demonstrated knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace awareness.
- Familiarity with cash register systems, Mobile POS, iPad and laptop use; ability to read price and product release documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational ability, and capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills; ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; capable of climbing, bending and kneeling.
Skills
Experience
Preferably at least one year of retail experience, with cashier or stockroom responsibilities. Experience in a luxury or premium retail environment is a strong plus.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional retail, hospitality or customer-service training is advantageous.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
