Coach seeks a Temporary Sales Support Associate to contribute to store operational excellence and customer satisfaction at the Fifth Avenue flagship location in New York. This role encompasses cash handling, point-of-sale operations, inventory management, and sales floor support, requiring accuracy, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining Coach's brand standards. The position demands flexibility to accommodate peak seasons, weekends, and holiday service demands.

Role & Responsibilities

• Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipating needs and providing personalized assistance
• Operate POS systems accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle cash and payment media in compliance with company policy
• Suggest complementary products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information in accordance with permitting guidelines
• Receive, process, and organize incoming shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness
• Manage inventory levels, replenish sales floor displays, and execute visual merchandising updates
• Support broader sales floor activities, respond to customer inquiries confidently, and collaborate with team members and management as required
• Serve as a brand ambassador internally and within the local market, supporting social media engagement initiatives
• Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the store and adhere to Loss Prevention protocols

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales background) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency with cash register systems and mobile point-of-sale platforms
• Competency with basic computer systems, including iPad, laptop, walkie-talkie devices, and Internet tools
• Ability to read price sheets and product release documentation
• Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace dynamics

Skills

Experience

1 year of retail experience, preferably in a luxury retail service environment. A combination of relevant education and practical experience will be considered.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; however, equivalent retail or customer service experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 21.75 per hour.
