Coach Sales Support Associate position in New York, NY. Full-time retail role with competitive hourly pay ($15.00–$21.75) and comprehensive benefits.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist clients with warmth, professionalism, and personalized service; anticipate customer needs and provide expert product recommendations
  • Operate POS systems accurately, manage cash wrap organization, and handle cash and payment media in compliance with company policy
  • Receive, process, and organize shipments and merchandise transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness and organization
  • Execute visual merchandising updates, manage stock levels, and replenish sales floor displays according to established standards
  • Suggest add-on products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted to enhance sales and customer engagement
  • Serve as a brand ambassador internally and externally; support social media engagement and community initiatives
  • Support sales floor activities, respond confidently to customer requests, and collaborate with team members and management as needed
  • Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the sales floor and stockroom; adhere strictly to loss prevention guidelines

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ year of previous retail experience, including cashier, stock, or sales roles, preferably in a luxury retail environment
  • Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive landscape
  • Proficiency with cash register systems and basic computer skills, including iPad, laptop, Mobile POS, and Internet browsers
  • Ability to read and understand price sheets, product release information, and sales floor signage
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom

Experience

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of relevant education and retail experience will be considered.
