Coach seeks a Temporary Sales Support Associate in New York. Luxury retail role supporting POS, inventory, and customer service at iconic Fifth Avenue location.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet customers with warmth and professionalism; anticipate needs and provide personalized assistance
- Operate POS systems accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle cash and media in compliance with company policy
- Suggest complementary products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information in accordance with data protection guidelines
- Receive, process, and organize shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness and organization
- Manage inventory levels, replenish sales floor displays, and execute visual merchandising updates according to brand standards
- Support sales floor activities, respond to customer inquiries confidently, and partner with sales associates and management as needed
- Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout the store and adhere to all Loss Prevention guidelines
- Serve as a brand ambassador internally and within the local market; support social media engagement initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of previous retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales roles, preferably in a luxury retail environment)
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace positioning
- Proficiency with cash register systems and basic computer skills, including iPad, laptop, mobile POS, and Internet navigation
- Ability to read and interpret price sheets, product release sheets, and communicate effectively via walkie-talkie
- Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong English language proficiency
- Capacity to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and maneuver sales floor and stockroom areas

Minimum 1+ year of previous retail experience, preferably in a luxury retail service environment. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of fashion trends, competitive marketplace dynamics, and cash register operations.
