Coach in New York (Herald Square) seeks a part-time Sales Support Associate to manage POS, stockroom and client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, personalised client service at the cash wrap and on the sales floor, anticipating customer needs and building long‑term rapport.
- Operate POS and Mobile POS systems accurately; manage cash, payments and media in strict compliance with company policies.
- Receive, process and organise incoming shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness and inventory accuracy.
- Replenish merchandise on the sales floor, execute visual merchandising updates and support loss prevention standards.
- Support store social engagement as a local brand ambassador and capture customer information where permitted to support clienteling.
- Maintain housekeeping standards, assist teammates during peak periods and perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, climbing) as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year retail experience (cashier, stockroom or sales); luxury retail experience preferred.
- Familiarity with fashion trends and competitive marketplace dynamics.
- Proven cash handling experience and knowledge of cash register systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational ability and capacity to multitask in a high‑traffic environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays; able to lift regularly 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally).

At least one year of retail experience is required, ideally including cashier or stockroom duties; prior experience in a luxury retail environment is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of education and retail experience will be considered.
