Coach in New York, NY seeks a Sales Support Associate (temporary) to support retail operations, client service and visual standards.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, high-quality client service on the sales floor and at point of sale to drive conversion and client satisfaction.
  • Process transactions accurately using the store POS and follow company cash-handling procedures.
  • Support visual merchandising standards and execute floor moves, replenishment, and display maintenance to brand guidelines.
  • Receive, unpack and organize incoming merchandise; manage stockroom organization and inventory counts.
  • Assist with clienteling activities, appointment support, and follow-up communications as directed by sales managers.
  • Support store team during peak periods, promotions and events; perform opening/closing duties as required.
  • Adhere to loss prevention, security and operational policies to protect inventory and client data.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or retail certification is a plus.
  • Previous retail or luxury sales experience preferred, especially in client-facing roles.
  • Demonstrated customer service aptitude with polished interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holiday periods.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented retail environment.

Experience

Entry-level role; 0–2 years of retail or customer-facing experience preferred, ideally within luxury or premium brands. Experience assisting during peak retail periods or events is advantageous.
