Role & Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational support to the store sales team, including opening/closing procedures and cash handling reconciliation.
- Support clienteling activities by maintaining customer records, scheduling appointments and executing follow-up communications to drive repeat sales.
- Manage inventory tasks such as stock replenishment, receiving, tagging and cycle counts to ensure visual merchandising standards and product availability.
- Operate point-of-sale and returns processes with accuracy, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and loss-prevention procedures.
- Collaborate with store management to prepare sales reports, process transfers and assist with visual merchandising setups for launches and events.
- Respond to customer inquiries in person, by phone and electronically, resolving routine issues and escalating complex matters to management.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated customer service aptitude with a polished, client-focused demeanour suited to luxury retail.
- Proven numeracy and accuracy in cash handling and transactional processes.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing operational tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends and peak holiday periods.
Experience
Typically 2–4 years of retail or sales support experience, preferably within premium or luxury fashion. Experience with inventory management, clienteling and daily store operations is expected.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in business, merchandising or a related field is preferred.
