Coach seeks a Sales Support Associate in New York, NY — client-facing retail role supporting sales, inventory and store operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary client service at point of sale and on the shop floor, anticipating client needs and supporting a high-end shopping experience.
- Support sales associates by coordinating appointments, managing client communications and maintaining CRM records to ensure accurate client profiles and follow-up.
- Operate point-of-sale systems to process transactions, returns and exchanges with accuracy and discretion.
- Maintain stockroom operations: receiving deliveries, conducting stock counts, replenishment and shrinkage control procedures.
- Assist with visual merchandising and floor sets to uphold brand standards and seasonal directives.
- Prepare daily sales and inventory reports, escalate discrepancies and support loss-prevention practices.
- Contribute to store opening and closing procedures and perform ad hoc administrative tasks to support store leadership.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within luxury or premium brands.
- Demonstrable client-facing skills with polished interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail for transaction accuracy and inventory control.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required by retail operations.
- Professional demeanour with a keen appreciation for visual standards and brand presentation.
Skills
Experience
Typically requires 2+ years of retail experience, with prior exposure to luxury or premium-store environments preferred. Experience in stocking, POS operation and CRM-driven clienteling is expected.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or vocational training in retail, business or hospitality preferred.
