Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to store leadership, enabling smooth retail execution and sales performance.
  • Process incoming and outgoing merchandise: receive shipments, perform quality checks, log inventory, and coordinate stock moves with distribution and stores.
  • Support point-of-sale operations including transaction support, refunds/exchanges processing, and accurate cash handling according to company procedures.
  • Maintain stockroom organization, execute inventory cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and prepare replenishment to sales floor.
  • Assist with merchandising and visual standards on the sales floor, implementing floor sets and product displays to maintain brand presentation.
  • Support clienteling activities: prepare client appointments, follow up on enquiries, and assist with client communication and after-sales service.
  • Generate and maintain operational reports (sales, inventory, returns) and contribute to ad hoc analyses requested by store or district management.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams (visual merchandising, inventory control, loss prevention, distribution) to resolve operational issues and implement process improvements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong customer-service orientation with excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling, cash procedures, and data entry.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment and to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling client information and high-value merchandise.

Skills

Microsoft Excel Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) Retail POS systems Salesforce (or other CRM) — familiarity preferred Clienteling platforms and inventory management systems

Experience

Entry-level role: 0–2 years of retail or customer service experience preferred; prior experience in luxury or premium-brand retail, merchandising, or store operations is advantageous.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education (associate's or bachelor's) preferred.
