Coach in New York seeks a Sales Support Associate III to manage inventory, POS operations and clienteling to support store sales and operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver operational support to the sales floor, enabling store teams to maximize client-facing time and sales performance.
- Operate point-of-sale systems, manage cash handling, process returns/exchanges and ensure transaction accuracy.
- Manage inventory activities including receiving, tagging, replenishment, cycle counts and stock reconciliation to maintain visual and operational standards.
- Support clienteling efforts by preparing client lists, executing outreach tasks, and maintaining CRM data integrity.
- Prepare daily and weekly operational reports, assist with sales analysis and escalate inventory or client issues to management.
- Execute visual merchandising resets and maintain store presentation in accordance with brand guidelines.
- Assist with new-hire onboarding and on‑the‑job training for store processes and systems when required.
- Uphold loss-prevention practices, maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure compliance with brand policies.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional client service in a retail or luxury environment.
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail; comfortable handling cash and reconciling transactions.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale and inventory management processes; experience with CRM tools preferred.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings and peak retail periods.
- Professional demeanour, strong communication skills and the ability to work within a team-oriented store environment.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2 years of retail experience, preferably within luxury or premium brands; demonstrable experience with POS and inventory workflows and working directly to support sales teams.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or vocational qualification in business, retail management or related field preferred.
