Coach in Milpitas, CA seeks a part-time Sales Support Associate to manage POS, stockroom and client service at the store's cash wrap.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, professional client service at the cash wrap and on the sales floor; anticipate client needs and provide personalized assistance.
- Operate POS and Mobile POS systems accurately; manage cash/media in compliance with company policy and maintain an organized cash wrap.
- Receive, process, label and organize inbound shipments and transfers; report inventory discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness.
- Replenish sales floor stock, execute visual merchandising updates and support loss-prevention procedures.
- Promote add-on products and gift cards; capture customer information where permitted and support local brand visibility including social media engagement.
- Support general sales-floor activities, respond to customer requests, and collaborate with colleagues and management to meet store goals.
- Perform routine housekeeping tasks and safely handle physical requirements including regular lifting (up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs), bending and climbing.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ year retail experience (cashier/stock/sales); luxury retail experience preferred. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Working knowledge of current fashion trends and competitor activity.
- Proficiency with POS systems, Mobile POS platforms, iPad/laptop use and basic internet applications.
- Strong attention to detail, organization and multitasking ability in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills; strong English proficiency required.
Skills
Experience
At least one year of hands-on retail experience (cashiering, stock or sales); prior experience in a luxury or premium retail environment is preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in retail, visual merchandising or customer service is a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 21.75 per hour.
