Role & Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipating needs and delivering personalized service at the cash wrap and on the sales floor.
• Operate POS accurately, handle cash and payment media in compliance with company policy, and maintain an organized cash wrap.
• Receive, process and organise incoming shipments and store transfers; report inventory discrepancies and maintain stockroom standards.
• Manage stock levels, replenish the sales floor and execute merchandising updates to visual standards.
• Promote add-on products and gift cards and capture customer information where permitted to support business objectives.
• Support floor activities and respond to customer requests confidently, partnering with teammates and management as needed.
• Uphold housekeeping and loss-prevention procedures and perform physical tasks including regular lifting and stock movement.
• Act as a local brand ambassador and support store-level social media engagement when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales); luxury retail experience preferred; combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• Working knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive marketplace dynamics.
• Familiarity with cash register/POS systems and basic computer devices (iPad, laptop) and Internet-based tools.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational ability and multi-tasking aptitude in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak trading periods.
• Capable of routinely lifting at least 25 lbs and up to 50 lbs occasionally; able to climb, bend and manoeuvre in the sales floor and stockroom.

Skills

Experience

At least one year of prior retail experience — cashier, stockroom or sales roles preferred; luxury retail service background advantageous. A combination of formal education and hands-on experience will be considered.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail, hospitality or merchandising coursework is advantageous.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
