Coach, a global fashion house founded in New York in 1941, seeks a Sales Support Associate to support store operations and customer service at its Grapevine Mills location. This role encompasses point-of-sale transactions, cash wrap management, inventory receipt and organization, sales floor merchandising, and customer engagement, requiring accuracy, multitasking ability, and a commitment to brand excellence in a fast-paced retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipating needs and providing personalized service
- Operate POS systems accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle cash and payment media in compliance with company policy
- Receive, process, and organize shipments and transfers while reporting discrepancies and maintaining stockroom cleanliness
- Manage stock levels, replenish sales floor merchandise, and execute visual merchandising updates
- Suggest add-on products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted by policy
- Serve as a brand ambassador internally and in the local community, supporting social media engagement initiatives
- Support sales floor activities, respond to customer inquiries confidently, and collaborate with team members and management
- Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the store and adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines
- Lift and transport merchandise regularly (up to 25 lbs.) and occasionally (up to 50 lbs.), and maneuver sales floor and stockroom areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of previous retail experience including cashier, stock, or sales operations, preferably in a luxury retail environment
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace dynamics
- Proficiency with cash register systems and basic computer skills including iPad, laptop, Mobile POS, and Internet applications
- Ability to utilize two-way radios and interpret price and product release documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong English language proficiency
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1+ year of retail experience, such as cashier or stock operations, preferably within a luxury retail service environment. A combination of equivalent education and practical experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of education and retail experience will be considered.
