Coach seeks a Sales Support Associate II in New York, NY — responsible for store operations, clienteling and inventory support for the Coach retail team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive floor support to sales teams, including clienteling, styling assistance and direct customer service to maximize conversion and AUR (average unit retail).
  • Manage inventory-related tasks: receiving, stock replenishment, cycle counts, transfers and maintaining accurate stock records to support omnichannel fulfillment.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and accurately process sales, returns and exchanges while following brand cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Execute visual merchandising and storefront standards to ensure product presentation aligns with seasonal directives and marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and ad-hoc sales and operational reports for store leadership; escalate issues and follow up on action items.
  • Support administrative functions including appointment coordination, client data entry and CRM updates to sustain high-quality client relationships.
  • Act as liaison between store and regional teams for operational initiatives, product allocations and client outreach programs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in retail, business or related field preferred.
  • Proven retail experience, ideally 1–3 years in luxury or premium fashion brands with track record in client service and operational support.
  • Strong numeracy and administrative capability with attention to detail in inventory, cash handling and reporting.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and peak holiday periods.
  • Professional presentation, excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-centric demeanor consistent with luxury retail standards.
