Temporary Sales Support Associate at Coach in Hershey, PA. Retail role covering POS, inventory, and customer service for luxury fashion brand.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipate customer needs, and provide personalized assistance
- Serve as a brand ambassador internally and in the local market while supporting social media engagement initiatives
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle cash and media transactions in strict compliance with company policy
- Suggest add-on products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted by company protocol
- Receive, process, and organize shipments and transfers, report discrepancies promptly, and maintain stockroom cleanliness and organization
- Manage inventory stock levels, replenish sales floor displays, and execute visual merchandising updates according to brand standards
- Support sales floor activities, respond to customer requests confidently, and collaborate with team members and management as needed
- Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the store and adhere strictly to Loss Prevention guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of previous retail experience in cashier, stock, or sales roles, preferably in a luxury retail environment (combination of relevant education and experience will be considered)
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace dynamics
- Proficiency with cash register systems, basic computer skills including iPad/laptop navigation, mobile POS systems, and internet usage
- Ability to operate walkie-talkies and read price sheets and product release information
- Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-traffic retail environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally) and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver throughout sales floor and stockroom areas
- Flexibility to work a variable schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays

Experience
Minimum one year of retail experience, preferably in a luxury retail service environment. Experience as a cashier, stock associate, or sales associate is valued. A combination of relevant education and professional experience will be considered.
