Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers with professionalism and warmth, anticipating needs and offering personalized product recommendations
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and manage currency and payment media in accordance with loss prevention protocols
- Receive, process, and organize incoming shipments and transfers, reporting discrepancies and maintaining stockroom cleanliness and efficiency
- Manage inventory levels, replenish product on the sales floor, and execute visual merchandising updates to brand standards
- Suggest complementary products, promote gift card offerings, and capture customer information to support customer relationship management
- Function as an internal brand ambassador and support social media engagement initiatives within the local community
- Support sales floor team members and respond confidently to customer inquiries, escalating to management when necessary
- Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the store and adhere strictly to loss prevention and security guidelines
- Perform physical tasks including lifting merchandise (up to 50 lbs occasionally, 25 lbs regularly), climbing, bending, kneeling, and navigating sales floor and stockroom environments
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of previous retail experience, including cashier, stock, or sales roles, preferably in a luxury retail setting
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive market dynamics
- Proficiency with cash register systems and basic computer applications, including iPad, laptop, and mobile point-of-sale platforms
- Ability to utilize wireless communication devices (walkie-talkies) and interpret price and product release information
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Capacity to multitask effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with strong customer service orientation
- Physical capability to lift, climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver throughout sales floor and storage areas
- Flexibility to work variable schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of retail experience, including cashier, stock handling, or sales roles. Experience in a luxury retail environment is preferred, though a combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further education or retail certifications are not required but may strengthen candidacy.
