Coach seeks Temporary Sales Support Associate in Gilroy, California. Part-time role with flexible scheduling, $15.00–$21.75/hr. Retail experience required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipating needs and providing personalized service
- Operate POS systems accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle cash and payment media in compliance with company policy
- Receive, process, and organize shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness
- Manage stock levels, replenish sales floor merchandise, and execute visual merchandising updates
- Suggest add-on products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted
- Serve as a brand ambassador internally and support social media engagement initiatives
- Support sales floor activities, respond to customer requests confidently, and collaborate with team members and management
- Maintain housekeeping standards and adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines
Qualifications
- At least one year of previous retail experience, preferably in luxury retail (cashier, stock, or sales roles)
- Proficiency with cash register systems and basic computer skills, including iPad, laptop, Mobile POS, and Internet navigation
- Knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace positioning
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally; capability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom areas
Skills
Experience
One or more years of retail experience, including cashier, stock, or sales positions. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered. Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace awareness is essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of relevant education and retail experience will be considered.
