Coach Sales Support Associate – Temporary, part-time retail role in Gilroy, CA. $15.00–$21.75/hr with benefits including insurance and 401(k).
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipating needs and providing personalized assistance throughout the shopping journey
- Operate POS systems accurately, manage cash wrap organization, and handle cash and media in strict compliance with company policy
- Serve as a brand ambassador internally and in the local market, supporting social media engagement initiatives
- Suggest add-on products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information in accordance with privacy policies
- Receive, process, organize shipments and transfers; identify and report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness and safety standards
- Manage inventory levels, replenish the sales floor with merchandise, and execute visual merchandising updates according to brand guidelines
- Support sales floor activities, respond to customer requests with confidence, and partner with team members and management as required
- Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the store and adhere strictly to Loss Prevention guidelines
- Lift and maneuver merchandise and materials regularly (minimum 25 lbs., up to 50 lbs. occasionally); climb, bend, kneel as required for store operations
Qualifications
- One or more years of previous retail experience (including cashier, stock, or sales roles, preferably in a luxury retail service environment)
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace dynamics
- Proficiency with cash register systems and basic computer skills, including iPad, laptop, Mobile POS systems, and Internet navigation
- Ability to utilize two-way communication devices (walkie talkie)
- Ability to read and interpret price sheets and product release documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
Skills
Experience
One or more years of retail experience, preferably in a luxury retail or service environment. Experience in cashier, stock, or sales roles is highly valued. A combination of relevant education and practical experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.
