Coach is hiring a Temporary Sales Support Associate in Gilroy, California. Support luxury retail operations, assist customers, manage inventory, and handle POS systems.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipating needs and providing personalized support
  • Operate POS systems accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle cash and payment media in compliance with company policy
  • Receive, process, and organize shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness and organization
  • Suggest complementary products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted to support sales objectives
  • Manage stock levels, replenish sales floor displays, and execute visual merchandising updates as directed
  • Serve as an internal brand ambassador and support local social media engagement initiatives
  • Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the sales floor and stockroom, adhering to loss prevention guidelines
  • Support sales floor activities, respond confidently to customer requests, and partner with team members and management as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of previous retail experience (cashier, stock, sales, or equivalent)
  • Proficiency with cash register systems and basic computer skills including iPad, laptop, Mobile POS, and internet navigation
  • Strong knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive marketplace awareness
  • Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver throughout sales floor and stockroom

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 21.75 per hour.
