Sales Support Associate position at Coach in Folsom, California—part-time retail role managing POS, inventory, and customer service in a luxury fashion environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipating needs and providing personalized service
- Operate POS systems accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle cash and payment media in strict compliance with company policy
- Process shipments and transfers efficiently, report discrepancies promptly, and maintain stockroom organization and cleanliness
- Manage inventory levels, replenish merchandise on the sales floor, and execute visual merchandising updates as directed
- Suggest complementary products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted to support sales objectives
- Serve as a brand ambassador internally and in the local market; support social media engagement initiatives
- Respond to customer requests with confidence and professionalism, partnering with team members and management as needed
- Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the store and adhere strictly to loss prevention guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of previous retail experience, including cashier, stock, or sales roles, preferably in a luxury retail environment
- Knowledge of cash register systems and point-of-sale operations
- Basic computer proficiency, including proficiency with iPad, laptop, mobile POS systems, and internet applications
- Ability to operate walkie talkies and interpret price and product release sheets
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace dynamics
Skills
Experience
One or more years of retail experience in cashier, stock, or sales roles, preferably within a luxury retail service environment. A combination of relevant education and hands-on retail experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or general educational development (GED) preferred; a combination of relevant education and retail experience will be considered.
