Coach (Tapestry) in Flushing, NY seeks a part-time Sales Support Associate to operate POS, manage stock, and deliver client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet clients with warmth, anticipate needs, and deliver personalized service at the cash wrap and on the sales floor.
- Operate POS and Mobile POS devices accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle cash/media in accordance with company policies.
- Receive, process, and organize inbound shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness.
- Manage stock levels, replenish the sales floor, and support visual merchandising updates to brand standards.
- Suggest add-on products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted to support CRM and sales goals.
- Support sales floor activities and customer requests; escalate and partner with management as needed.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and follow Loss Prevention procedures; perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales), preferably within a luxury or premium retail environment; combination of education and experience considered.
- Familiarity with fashion trends and competitive marketplace dynamics.
- Working knowledge of cash register systems and Mobile POS technology.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and capacity to multitask in a high-traffic retail setting.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills; English proficiency required.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.

Experience
At least one year of prior retail experience in roles such as cashier, stockroom associate, or sales advisor; luxury retail experience preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; combination of education and retail experience will be considered.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 21.75 per hour.
