Coach seeks Temporary Sales Support Associate in Elmont, New York. Part-time retail role offering $15.00–$21.75/hr with benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers with warmth and professionalism, anticipating their needs and providing personalized service
- Operate POS systems accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle currency and payment media in compliance with company policy
- Receive, process, and organize shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness and organization
- Manage inventory levels, replenish sales floor stock, and execute visual merchandising updates according to brand standards
- Suggest complementary products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted to enhance sales
- Serve as an internal and external brand ambassador; support social media engagement initiatives
- Support sales floor activities, respond to customer requests with confidence, and collaborate with team members and management
- Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the store and adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines
- Lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver throughout sales floor and stockroom
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of previous retail experience (including cashier, stock, or sales roles), preferably in luxury retail
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace dynamics
- Proficiency with cash register systems and POS platforms
- Basic computer skills including iPad, laptop, Mobile POS, and Internet navigation
- Ability to read price sheets, product release sheets, and utilize walkie-talkies
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
- Physical capability to lift, carry, climb, bend, and kneel regularly

Minimum one year of retail experience, preferably in a luxury retail service environment. A combination of education and retail experience will be considered.
