Coach (Tapestry) seeks a Part‑time Sales Support Associate in Elizabeth, NJ (Jersey Gardens) to manage POS, stockroom, merchandising and customer service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage clients with professionalism, anticipate needs, and deliver personalised service at the sales floor and cash wrap.
  • Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately; manage cash/media and maintain an organised cash wrap in accordance with company policy.
  • Receive, process and organise incoming shipments and transfers; report inventory discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness and organisation.
  • Manage inventory levels: replenish the sales floor, execute visual merchandising updates and ensure product presentation standards are met.
  • Promote add-on products and gift cards; capture permitted customer data and support local brand marketing and social media initiatives as required.
  • Support sales floor activities, respond to customer requests, and collaborate with colleagues and management to drive conversion.
  • Adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines and maintain housekeeping standards; safely lift, move and store merchandise as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year retail experience (cashier, stockroom, or sales); prior luxury retail experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of current fashion trends and awareness of marketplace competitors.
  • Familiarity with cash register systems and Mobile POS; proficiency using iPad/laptop and internet-based tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational ability and capacity to multitask in a high‑volume retail environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills; ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; capable of climbing, bending and kneeling in sales floor and stockroom.

Experience
