Coach in Deer Park, NY seeks a part-time Sales Support Associate to manage POS, merchandising and stockroom activities for its Deer Park store.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients with professionalism and provide personalized assistance both at the sales floor and cash wrap.
  • Operate POS and Mobile POS devices accurately; manage cash/media in strict compliance with store policy.
  • Receive, process and organize incoming shipments and transfers; report inventory discrepancies and maintain a tidy stockroom.
  • Manage stock levels, replenish the sales floor, and execute visual merchandising updates as directed.
  • Support sales floor activity, respond to customer requests, suggest add-on products, and promote gift cards.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador in-store and support local social media engagement as required.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards, adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines, and assist management or team members as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ year retail experience (cashier, stock or sales experience), preferably within a luxury retail environment; combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Working knowledge of current fashion trends and competitor activity in the marketplace.
  • Proficiency with POS systems, Mobile POS, iPad and basic computer functions; able to read price and product release sheets.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational capability, and ability to multitask in a high-volume retail environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills; strong English proficiency (noted for EU roles).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform physical tasks on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
