Coach is hiring a Sales Support Associate (part-time) in Costa Mesa, CA — support POS, stockroom, merchandising and client service at South Coast Plaza.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and provide attentive, personalized service at the cash wrap and on the sales floor.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately; manage cash/media and maintain a well-organized cash wrap in compliance with company policy.
- Support product flow from receipt to sale: receive, process and organize shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom standards.
- Replenish sales floor inventory, execute visual merchandising updates and ensure presentation standards are upheld.
- Drive attach rates by suggesting complementary products, promoting gift cards and capturing customer information where permitted.
- Act as a brand ambassador in-store and in the local market; assist with social media engagement when required.
- Support sales-floor activities, respond to customer requests, and collaborate with peers and management to meet business needs.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and adhere to Loss Prevention procedures; perform periodic physical tasks such as lifting and stockroom maneuvering.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales experience preferred), ideally within a luxury retail environment; combinations of education and experience considered.
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive activity in the marketplace.
- Familiarity with cash register systems and basic computer competence, including use of iPad, laptop, Mobile POS and internet-enabled tools.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational capability and aptitude for multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills; ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
- Physical ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; able to climb, bend, kneel and navigate sales floor and stockroom.
- Strong English language proficiency.

Experience
At least one year of prior retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales). Experience in luxury retail service is preferred; a combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail, customer service, or visual merchandising coursework preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 21.75 per hour.
