Coach is hiring a Sales Support Associate (part-time) in Costa Mesa, CA at South Coast Plaza. Join Coach and support POS, inventory and client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, professional client welcomes and personalised in‑store assistance at the cash wrap and on the sales floor.
- Operate POS systems accurately, handle cash/media in accordance with company policy, and maintain an organized cash wrap.
- Receive, process and organise incoming shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and uphold stockroom cleanliness and safety.
- Manage inventory levels, replenish the sales floor and execute visual merchandising updates to brand standards.
- Suggest add‑on products, promote gift cards, capture customer information where permitted, and support social media engagement locally.
- Support loss prevention procedures, maintain housekeeping standards, and assist colleagues and management with ad hoc floor activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales); luxury retail experience preferred; combination of education and experience considered.
- Working knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive activity in the marketplace.
- Proficiency with cash register systems and basic computing devices (iPad, laptop) and Mobile POS.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational dexterity and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills; strong English language proficiency.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays; ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Experience
At least 1 year of retail experience, ideally including cashiering and stockroom responsibilities; prior exposure to luxury or premium retail environments is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.

The successful candidate will be located in Costa Mesa, California, USA, with easy access to Los Angeles.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 21.75 per hour.
