Coach in Clinton, CT seeks a part-time Sales Support Associate — customer-facing role with POS, stockroom and merchandising responsibilities.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist clients with warmth and professionalism; anticipate needs and deliver personalized service at the cash wrap and on the sales floor.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately, maintain cash wrap organisation, and manage cash and payment media in compliance with company policy.
  • Receive, process and organise incoming shipments and inter-store transfers; report discrepancies and maintain a clean, efficient stockroom.
  • Monitor stock levels, replenish the sales floor, and execute visual merchandising updates to brand standards.
  • Promote add-on products and gift cards, capture customer information where permitted, and support store social media/brand engagement locally.
  • Support loss prevention procedures and maintain housekeeping standards; assist sales associates and management during peak periods and events.
  • Perform physical tasks regularly, including lifting up to 25 lbs (frequent) and up to 50 lbs occasionally; climb, bend and manoeuvre throughout the sales floor and stockroom.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales), preferably within a luxury or premium retail environment; equivalent combinations of education and experience considered.
  • Working knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive retail landscape.
  • Familiarity with cash register systems and Mobile POS platforms; comfortable using iPad, laptop and internet-based tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills; strong English proficiency.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.

Experience
