Coach in Clinton, CT is hiring a part-time Sales Support Associate to manage POS, stockroom and client service. $15.00–$19.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients with warmth and professionalism; anticipate needs and deliver personalized service.
- Operate point-of-sale accurately, maintain the cash wrap, and process cash/media in compliance with company policy.
- Receive, process, organize and report discrepancies for shipments and transfers; maintain stockroom cleanliness and organization.
- Manage inventory levels, replenish the sales floor, and execute visual merchandising updates as directed.
- Recommend add-on products, promote gift cards and capture customer information where permitted.
- Support sales floor activities, respond to customer requests, and partner with the sales team and management to drive results.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines.
- Represent the brand in the local market and support store social media engagement when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of retail experience (cashier, stock, sales); luxury retail experience preferred; combination of education and experience considered.
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive landscape.
- Proven experience operating cash register systems and Mobile POS; ability to handle cash/media responsibly.
- Basic computer proficiency, including ability to use iPad, laptop and Internet-enabled tools.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and maneuver on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Experience
At least 1 year of prior retail experience (cashiering, stock or sales); experience in luxury retail is preferred. A combination of relevant education and practical retail experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and retail experience considered.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
