Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, professional greetings and personalised service at the cash wrap and on the sales floor.
  • Operate POS and Mobile POS systems accurately; manage cash/media in strict compliance with policy.
  • Receive, process and organise incoming shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom standards.
  • Monitor stock levels, replenish the sales floor and execute visual merchandising updates to brand standards.
  • Support customer requests on the sales floor and promote add-on sales such as gift cards; capture customer information where permitted.
  • Act as a local brand ambassador, supporting in-store social media engagement and community presence.
  • Maintain housekeeping and loss-prevention standards; perform physical tasks including regular lifting and stock handling.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year retail experience (cashier, stockroom or sales), preferably in a luxury retail environment; combinations of education and experience considered.
  • Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace.
  • Familiarity with cash register systems and POS operations; ability to use iPad, laptop and Mobile POS solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to multitask in a high-traffic environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills; strong English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), and perform physical movements required for stockroom and sales-floor duties.

Experience

At least 1 year of retail experience involving cashier, stock or sales responsibilities, ideally within a luxury or premium retail environment. Experience operating POS systems and managing merchandising or stockroom processes preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of formal education and relevant retail experience will be considered.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 21.75 per hour.
