Coach is hiring a Sales Support Associate (part-time) in Central Valley, New York — temporary retail role at Woodbury Common.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism; anticipate needs and provide personalised assistance.
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, maintain cash wrap organisation and process cash/media in compliance with policy.
- Suggest add-on products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted to support CRM and sales objectives.
- Receive, process and organise incoming shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness and organisation.
- Manage stock levels, replenish the sales floor and execute visual merchandising updates to brand standards.
- Support sales floor activities and respond to customer requests; partner with colleagues and management to ensure exceptional service.
- Maintain housekeeping standards on the sales floor and adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines.
- Serve as a brand ambassador in-store and in the local market, supporting social media engagement when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales), preferably within a luxury retail environment; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive market activity.
- Proficiency using cash register systems, Mobile POS, iPad/laptop and internet-based tools; ability to operate a walkie talkie.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong English language proficiency.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak seasonal periods and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; able to climb, bend and kneel as required.

Experience
At least 1 year of prior retail experience, ideally within a luxury or premium retail setting; experience handling cash wrap and stockroom operations preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.
