Coach seeks Sales Support Associate in Carlsbad, California—luxury retail role managing POS, inventory, and customer service. $15–$21.75/hr, part-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipating needs and providing personalized service
- Operate POS systems accurately, manage cash wrap organization, and handle cash and media transactions in compliance with company policy
- Suggest add-on products and gift cards; capture customer information in accordance with company guidelines
- Receive, process, and organize shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness
- Manage stock levels, replenish sales floor merchandise, and execute visual merchandising updates
- Support sales floor activities and respond to customer requests with confidence; partner with team and management as needed
- Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the store and adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines
- Serve as an internal and external brand ambassador; support social media engagement
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of previous retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales), preferably in a luxury retail environment
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace dynamics
- Proficiency with cash register systems and basic computer skills, including iPad, laptop, Mobile POS, and Internet
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays as required
Skills
Experience
1+ years of retail experience in cashiering, stock management, or sales, preferably within a luxury retail service environment. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
Education
