Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism; anticipate customer needs and provide personalized, attentive assistance
- Operate POS systems accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle cash and payment media in strict compliance with company policy
- Receive, process, and organize shipments and transfers; identify and report discrepancies promptly and maintain stockroom cleanliness
- Manage stock levels, replenish the sales floor strategically, and execute visual merchandising updates according to brand standards
- Suggest complementary products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted to enhance sales and CRM initiatives
- Serve as an internal and external brand ambassador; support social media engagement and represent Coach's inclusive, courageous ethos
- Support sales floor activities, respond to customer requests with confidence, and partner with the sales team and management as needed
- Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the store and adhere strictly to Loss Prevention guidelines and security protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of previous retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales roles), preferably in a luxury retail service environment
- Knowledge of cash register systems and basic computer proficiency, including iPad, laptop, Mobile POS platforms, and Internet navigation
- Ability to utilize walkie-talkies and read price sheets and product release documentation
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-traffic retail environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer service orientation
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace dynamics
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate the sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
1 year of previous retail experience, preferably in a luxury retail service environment. A combination of relevant education and work experience will be considered equally.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of education and retail experience will be considered.
