Coach seeks a part-time Sales Support Associate in Byron Center, MI. Join Tapestry's retail team to operate POS, manage stock and deliver exceptional client service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist clients with professionalism and warmth, anticipating needs and delivering personalised service.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, maintain an organised cash wrap, and handle cash/media in accordance with company policy.
  • Receive, process and organise incoming shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain a tidy, secure stockroom.
  • Manage inventory levels on the sales floor, replenish merchandise and execute visual merchandising updates to brand standards.
  • Suggest add-on products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information in compliance with data and privacy policies.
  • Support salesfloor activities and respond to customer requests; partner seamlessly with colleagues and store management.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards, adhere to Loss Prevention procedures and perform other operational tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year retail experience (cashiering, stockroom, or sales) — luxury retail experience preferred; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace dynamics.
  • Familiarity with cash register systems, Mobile POS, iPad/laptop use and basic internet navigation.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational ability and capacity to multitask in a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service communication skills; strong English proficiency.
  • Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (and occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and manoeuvre within the salesfloor and stockroom.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods.

Experience

Minimum of one year of prior retail experience, preferably in a luxury or premium retail environment; experience handling POS transactions and stockroom operations is required.
