Coach — Part-time Sales Support Associate at Kings Plaza (Brooklyn, NY). Customer-facing role supporting cash wrap, stockroom and merchandising.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet customers with warmth and professionalism, anticipate needs, and provide personalized assistance on the sales floor and at the cash wrap.
- Operate POS and Mobile POS devices accurately; handle cash and payment media in strict compliance with company policy.
- Receive, inspect, process and organize incoming shipments and transfers; report inventory discrepancies and maintain stockroom orderliness.
- Manage stock levels and replenish the sales floor; execute visual merchandising updates and ensure presentation standards are met.
- Promote add-on products and gift cards, capture customer information where permitted, and support social media engagement as a brand ambassador.
- Support loss prevention and housekeeping standards; perform physical tasks including lifting and moving merchandise (regularly up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs).
- Assist colleagues and management with ad-hoc sales floor activities and customer requests; escalate issues appropriately.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year retail experience (cashiering, stock, or sales), preferably within a luxury retail environment; combinations of education and experience considered.
- Working knowledge of current fashion trends and the competitive retail marketplace.
- Familiarity with cash register systems, Mobile POS, iPad/laptop usage, walkie talkie operation and basic internet navigation.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills; strong attention to detail and organizational capability.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail setting and maintain flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays and peak seasonal periods.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, climb and maneuver in sales floor and stockroom environments.

Experience
At least 1+ year of prior retail experience—cash handling, stockroom or sales duties preferred; luxury retail background is an advantage. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 21.75 per hour.
