Role & Responsibilities

• Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism; anticipate needs and provide personalised assistance on the sales floor.
• Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, maintain cash wrap organisation, and handle cash/media in strict accordance with policy.
• Receive, process and organise incoming shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness and order.
• Monitor stock levels, replenish the sales floor, and execute visual merchandising updates to brand standards.
• Suggest add-on products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted to support clienteling efforts.
• Support sales floor activities and respond confidently to customer requests, partnering with peers and management as required.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines to protect inventory and assets.
• Act as a brand ambassador internally and in the local market, supporting store social engagement and community-facing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1+ years of retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales), preferably in a luxury retail environment; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Current knowledge of fashion trends and marketplace competition.
• Familiarity with cash register systems and POS operations; basic computer literacy including iPad and laptop use.
• Ability to multitask in a high-traffic, fast-paced retail environment with strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service capabilities; strong English proficiency.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
• Capacity to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend and manoeuvre in the sales floor and stockroom.

Skills

Experience

At least 1 year of prior retail experience in cashier, stockroom or sales roles; luxury retail background preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage POS transactions, support inventory flow, and deliver consistent customer service in a busy store environment.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of relevant education and retail experience will be considered.
