Coach, part of the Tapestry portfolio of luxury fashion brands, seeks a Sales Supervisor for its outlet location in Pearl, Mississippi. This role involves leading and supervising sales floor operations, managing team performance, and maintaining elevated customer service standards in a fast-paced retail environment. The position requires the ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs. (occasionally up to 50 lbs.) and to navigate the sales floor and stockroom with agility.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise sales floor operations and team performance
- Maintain elevated customer service standards and brand experience
- Manage inventory and stockroom operations
- Coach and develop direct reports through challenging assignments and frequent development discussions
- Build effective team morale, share successes, and foster open dialogue
- Execute strategic planning while remaining agile in response to business changes
- Provide direct and actionable feedback to team members
- Address performance issues promptly and directly
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership experience in retail or luxury goods environment
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs. (occasionally up to 50 lbs.)
- Physical capability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Proficiency in a fast-paced, customer-centric retail setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work part-time hours as scheduled
Skills
Experience
Sales or supervisory experience in a luxury fashion retail environment is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of leading teams, exceeding sales goals, and maintaining high standards of customer engagement.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. Retail management certification or luxury goods experience is advantageous.
