Coach is hiring a Sales Associate III in New York, NY — senior retail role focused on luxury client service and sales performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary, personalised client service to develop long-term relationships and maximise lifetime value.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through proactive selling, clienteling and follow-up.
- Manage clienteling activities, maintain up-to-date contact records and execute outreach to drive repeat business.
- Operate the point-of-sale system accurately, process high-value transactions and maintain cash-handling integrity.
- Maintain and execute visual merchandising standards to reflect brand imagery and seasonal directives.
- Support stockroom operations including inventory control, stock replenishment and cycle counts.
- Uphold loss-prevention procedures, store security and company compliance standards.
- Act as an ambassador for the brand on the sales floor and during events; mentor junior associates when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business, fashion or a related field preferred but not required.
- Demonstrable experience in luxury or premium retail sales with a track record of meeting sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centric orientation.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships (clienteling) and manage follow-up activities.
- Comfortable handling high-value transactions and maintaining discretion.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays; legally authorised to work in the USA.

Typically 3+ years of progressive experience in luxury or premium fashion retail, with proven sales performance and client relationship management.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business, fashion or related discipline preferred.
