Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational support to the retail sales team, including order entry, processing of special orders and after‑sales follow-up to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, stock replenishment and coordination with stockroom and logistics to minimise shrinkage and fulfil client requests promptly.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) system for transactions, returns and exchanges while ensuring compliance with cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Execute clienteling activities: update CRM records, prepare client communications, manage appointment schedules and support VIP servicing initiatives.
  • Support merchandising and visual standards on the sales floor: receive and prepare new deliveries, assist with floor moves and maintain on-brand presentation.
  • Generate routine sales and operational reports (daily sales, stock levels, client activity) and escalate trends or exceptions to store management.
  • Coach and assist junior colleagues on operational procedures and contribute to store training efforts when required.

Qualifications

  • Proven customer‑facing experience in luxury retail or premium lifestyle brands with strong client service instincts.
  • Demonstrable numeracy and administrative accuracy for order processing, inventory control and reporting.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with high‑value clients and internal stakeholders.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential client information and VIP relationships.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak sale periods; ability to stand for extended periods.

Experience

Typically requires 2+ years of progressive experience in retail operations or sales support within a luxury or premium retail environment, with demonstrated competence in order management, inventory control and client service.
