Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary face-to-face client service tailored to a luxury clientele; build rapport and conduct proactive clienteling to maximise sales and retention.
- Achieve daily and weekly sales targets through effective product presentation, suggestive selling and personalised styling.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions, handle cash and card payments, returns and exchanges accurately.
- Maintain brand visual merchandising standards on the sales floor and windows; ensure stock is replenished and displays are tidy.
- Participate in store opening and closing procedures, inventory counts, receiving and basic stock management tasks.
- Adhere to loss-prevention, security and compliance procedures; report incidents and assist with store safety protocols.
- Support ad hoc store initiatives such as client events, seasonal rollouts and promotional campaigns.
Qualifications
- Professional, client-focused demeanour with polished grooming consistent with a luxury brand.
- Proven ability to build relationships and convert footfall into sales; previous retail or client-facing experience preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; able to present product stories and brand heritage succinctly.
- Flexibility to work a variable schedule including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
Skills
Experience
Typically 0–2 years of retail or customer-facing experience; prior experience within a luxury or premium fashion brand is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, sales or fashion is a plus.
