Coach is hiring a Sales Consultant in Nantong, China — deliver luxury client service, drive sales and support store operations at Nantong Mixc.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the frontline brand ambassador and consistently apply Coach style and service standards to deliver a premium client experience.
- Build and sustain long-term client relationships through personalised styling, product expertise and fashion insight to drive loyalty and repeat purchases.
- Convert clients through cross-selling, up-selling and tailored product recommendations to achieve individual and store KPIs.
- Utilise mobile POS systems, clienteling tools and social selling (including short video content) to capture customer data and stimulate repurchase.
- Plan and execute personal sales activities and follow-up to develop new clients and nurture existing accounts.
- Maintain high energy on the selling floor, manage multiple client interactions, and adapt selling approach to business rhythms.
- Perform daily store operations including cash handling, till transactions, inventory receipt and replenishment, visual merchandising and order fulfilment (including online order collection).
- Ensure selling areas and stockroom are organised and merchandised to brand standards while adhering to POS procedures, retail policies and asset protection processes.
- Support cyclical stock management activities and assist colleagues across functions as required.
- Participate in brand events, training programmes and diversity & inclusion initiatives; accept feedback and demonstrate professional composure.
Qualifications
- Associate degree (college diploma) or higher.
- Minimum 2 years of retail or luxury-brand sales experience.
- Polite, proactive and commercially focused with a demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills in a client-facing environment.
- Strong team orientation and willingness to support colleagues across functions.
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, peak sales seasons and public holidays as business requires.
Skills
Experience
At least 2 years' experience in retail sales, preferably within the luxury or premium fashion sector, with proven ability to meet individual and store sales targets.
Education
Associate degree or higher.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Nantong, Jiangsu, China, with easy access to Shanghai.
