Coach (Tapestry) in Livermore, CA seeks a Part-time Sales Associate to deliver elevated luxury retail service at San Francisco Premium Outlets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering an elevated, personalized shopping experience aligned with Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through product expertise, personalized styling and follow-up to drive repeat business.
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations while developing and executing personal sales plans to meet individual and store KPIs.
- Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling channels (including short-form video and live demos) to capture client data and convert opportunities.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently (purchases, returns, exchanges, online order pickups) and execute daily operational tasks such as cash wrap, inventory processing and replenishment.
- Support inventory cycles: receive shipments, stock shelves, manage product movement and maintain an organised sales floor and stockroom.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and follow retail policies, POS procedures and asset protection requirements.
- Work collaboratively with teammates, assist across functional areas as required and participate in brand initiatives, training and inclusion activities.
- Adapt selling techniques to changing business needs, manage multiple customers on the floor and maintain a calm, professional demeanour.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and work to KPIs in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proficiency operating POS systems and basic computer devices (iPad/laptop); experience with mobile POS.
- Familiarity with clienteling and data acquisition techniques; social media savvy and experience with live-stream shopping or video demos preferred.
- Strong English communication skills required.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
- Physical ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), and to bend, climb and manoeuvre in sales floor and stockroom environments.

Minimum one year of sales experience; previous luxury or premium retail experience preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
