Coach is hiring a Sales Consultant in Kunming to deliver personalised luxury client experiences and drive store performance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as a frontline brand ambassador, consistently delivering service aligned with Coach’s Style & Service standards.
  • Provide personalised styling advice and product expertise to build long‑term client relationships and brand loyalty.
  • Drive sales through cross‑selling, up‑selling and tailored product recommendations to meet individual and store KPIs.
  • Use mobile POS, Clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short‑form video) to capture client data and stimulate repeat purchases.
  • Develop and execute individual sales plans and proactively prospect new clients while maintaining existing client portfolios.
  • Maintain high energy on the selling floor, manage multiple client interactions and adapt selling approach to business cadence.
  • Perform daily operational tasks including cash handling, inventory processing, replenishment and visual merchandising to preserve a premium store presentation.
  • Ensure sales floor and stockroom orderliness, adhere to retail policies, POS procedures and asset‑protection protocols.
  • Process transactions efficiently (sales, returns, exchanges and click‑and‑collect fulfilment) and assist with stock cycle activities (receiving, tagging, shelving).
  • Support teammates across functions as required and contribute to a collaborative, high‑trust team environment.
  • Participate in brand events, trainings and inclusion initiatives; accept feedback and maintain professional composure at all times.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of sales experience; luxury retail background preferred.
  • Proven experience operating POS systems and basic digital tools (iPad/laptop and mobile POS).
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, peak shopping periods and public holidays.
  • Physically able to perform retail tasks: frequent bending, climbing, moving between sales floor and stockroom and regularly handling approx. 11 kg (25 lb), occasionally up to 23 kg (50 lb).
  • Prior experience with social media selling, short‑form video or live‑stream commerce and clienteling is an advantage.

Experience

At least 1 year of retail sales experience; candidates with prior luxury or premium brand retail experience and demonstrable clienteling or social‑commerce activity will be prioritised.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational retail or customer service qualifications and relevant retail training considered an asset.

The successful candidate will be located in Kunming, Yunnan, China.
