Coach — Sales Associate (part‑time) in Chicago, IL. Client‑facing retail role delivering luxury service and omni‑channel sales at the Michigan Avenue store.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the front‑line ambassador for Coach, delivering elevated, personalized luxury client service and embodying the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
  • Drive individual and store sales through proactive selling, cross‑selling, upselling and tailored product recommendations to meet personal and team KPIs.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships via styling consultations, follow‑ups and clienteling to encourage repeat purchases and lifetime value.
  • Use mobile POS systems, clienteling tools and social selling/short‑form video to capture client data, process transactions and promote omni‑channel sales.
  • Execute daily store operations including cash wrap duties, inventory receipt and processing, replenishment, visual merchandising and online order fulfillment (pick‑up/returns/exchanges).
  • Maintain a well‑presented sales floor and stockroom; adhere to asset protection, POS and retail policy procedures.
  • Support inventory cycles and stock movement, assist teammates across functional areas and participate in store training and brand initiatives.
  • Adapt selling techniques to fluctuating traffic, manage multiple customers simultaneously and sustain high energy and professional demeanour on the floor.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proficiency with POS operation and basic computer literacy (iPad/laptop); comfortable using mobile POS and walkie‑talkie communications.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lb regularly (up to 50 lb occasionally), climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre in a retail environment.
  • Strong English language proficiency.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.

Experience

At least one year of retail sales experience is required; prior luxury retail experience and familiarity with live‑stream shopping, video demos or advanced social selling techniques are preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
