Coach in New York seeks a Cashier II to manage POS transactions, cash controls and deliver elevated client service in a flagship retail setting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operate point-of-sale system to process sales, returns and exchanges accurately and efficiently while adhering to company cash-handling procedures.
- Manage drawer reconciliations, end-of-day reports and maintain accurate transaction records to ensure financial controls.
- Deliver personalised, high-touch client service through attentive engagement, product knowledge and appropriate upselling to support sales targets.
- Support store merchandising standards and floor presentation, replenishing stock and ensuring displays reflect brand visual guidelines.
- Follow loss-prevention protocols and report discrepancies or suspicious activity promptly to management.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, stock counts and ad hoc administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant retail certification is advantageous.
- Minimum 1–2 years of cashiering or retail customer-service experience, preferably within premium or luxury retail.
- Proven numeracy and strong attention to detail with a history of accurate cash handling and reconciliation.
- Professional presentation, polished communication skills and a client-focused demeanour.
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and peak seasonal periods.
