Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to brand standards and the Coach Guide to Style and Service
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, fashion expertise, and tailored product recommendations
- Drive sales through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and consultative selling techniques
- Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans to meet or exceed individual and team key performance indicators
- Source new customers, manage follow-up communications, and close sales through proactive engagement
- Maintain high energy and focus on the sales floor while managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising
- Maintain sales floor and stockroom organization, cleanliness, and stock levels while adhering to retail policies and asset protection procedures
- Process transactions efficiently, including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles including receiving shipments, shelving stock, and tracking product movement
- Provide collaborative support to team members across functional areas as needed
- Foster a trusting, inclusive team environment and encourage peer performance
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and diversity and inclusion activities
- Respond positively to feedback, adapt behaviors flexibly, and maintain professional composure in challenging situations
Qualifications
- 1+ years of retail sales experience (luxury retail experience strongly preferred)
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive landscape
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS)
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
- Physical capability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
- Willingness and availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days
Skills
Experience
1+ years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail or fashion. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; specific educational attainment is flexible and will be evaluated in combination with relevant retail and sales experience.
